In a trip across water in a boat, the front of the boat gets there first.
The front of a ship is the BOW
In precipitation(rain) you sometimes get a RainBOW
If you get a lot of praise, like applause, you may take a BOW
A violinist moves a horsehair BOW over the strings to produce the notes.
Children of all ages are taught to tie their shoe laces in a BOW to avoid
them tripping over them.
Of course the notorious Hood is Robin Hood whose weapon of choice was the
BOW and arrow.
