Yellow Bark
Riddle
Riddles are little poems or phrases that pose a question that needs answering. Riddles frequently rhyme, but this is not a requirement.Riddle
Yellow with aspirin,
that's stuck on my skin.
I'm never alone,
side by side with my kin.
I always bear seed,
which I never need.
And golden Fall crown,
that drops to the ground,
though I am just a weed.
that's stuck on my skin.
I'm never alone,
side by side with my kin.
I always bear seed,
which I never need.
And golden Fall crown,
that drops to the ground,
though I am just a weed.
Hint
Found in the Rocky Mountains.Answer
A grove of Aspen.Considered to be the largest living organism, a grove of aspen shares an extensive root system. And though the Aspen produces seeds, new shoots almost always spring up from the root system. Aspen also produce Aspirin, leaving a yellow powder on the bark.
If that's not cool enough, the Aspen is classified as a weed not a tree. Ouch! My head hurts! Well....take two aspen and call me in the morning.
