Brain Teasers
PR in the Great War
During World War One, or the Great War as it was known at the time, Fred was working in the British propaganda corps (he was part of a propaganda exchange program between the Yanks and the Brits). His job was to make sure that every word puzzle that was printed in the London Times helped the war effort.
One day, as he was looking at pictures of Kaiser Wilhelm, he noticed that the German leader had been putting on some weight since the beginning of the war. He decided that he could use that in one of his puzzles. He wrote,
"Changing one letter at a time to make new words, change KAISER to PORKER in 11 steps."
Can you find the solution?
