Relative Round
Riddle
Riddles are little poems or phrases that pose a question that needs answering. Riddles frequently rhyme, but this is not a requirement.Riddle
If said that you're contrasting me with my relative round, who's kin to blue,
There has occurred a rejection attempt at your similitude.
From pupil to instructor as both a gesture kind and gift,
A fabled fatal food for firsts says the artist, poet, and myth.
Likely abandoned as to aliment if guest is from down under,
In 1 of 50, a giant one, that is said to never slumber.
What am I?

Answer
I am an apple.Explanation:
-If someone is said to be comparing APPLES and ORANGES, your analogy is being rejected.
-An APPLE from student to teacher is often done as a kind gift, gesture (or, as we know sometimes to curry favor).
-It is often (incorrectly) assumed and carried by myth that the first sinners, Adam and Eve, ate an APPLE in the Garden of Eden, which led to their dying. (Of course The Bible never said that), however it was perpetuated by artists such as German court painter Lucas Cranach the Elder (Virgin and Child under an Apple Tree) and poet John Milton (Paradise Lost).
-An APPLE would be abandoned for nourishment (likely), if it has a 'guest from down under' (or underground, that is, a WORM), and as a city in 1 of 50 states, the BIG APPLE (New York) is said to be the 'City that never sleeps.'
