What Book Are You Currently Reading 2
Romeo and Juliet ♥♥♥

My copy of the book was a gift, and I recently noticed it's not even the popularly read version. It's the "original scroll" that Jack Kerouac frantically typed out in like three weeks, extremely high, and presented to the publishers in a literal scroll like a roll of paper towels because "it looked like a road." It's certainly interesting, but it's hard to discuss with people because all the character names are different. Anyway, I could see how it would be a really good audio book since it's all stream-of-consciousness and very conversational. I hope you get to pick it back up!

Ah, I was recently going to try and listen to an audiobook of that (for want of different media). Unfortunately I only got to the first chapter or so and then was too busy and ran out of time and had to return it. I would like to pick it back up, one day, though. The CD sounded cool too because the narrator actually sounded like a beat poet. :]
On the Road by Jack Kerouac.

To Kill a Mockingbird.
It's a very slow read for me, as I normally read horror series and action novels. However, I am liking the plot so far.

Eating Animals by Jonathan Safran Foer
My university's summer reading. It's quite disgusting and illuminating.

Nine Stories - J.D Salinger
Re-reading Mercedes Lackey's Velgarth series. Not the deepest reading in the world, but it's a nice enjoyable escapist bit of fluff for a hot summer...
I'm currently reading the series Vampire Diaries....I want half the people to die in this book already. Why do authors make some people so stupid? I just finished To Kill A Mockingbird for school and just edited my essay. Personally I could have survived without reading that book... It was kinda dry reading.

Wasn't it?
I can officially say that I have moved on from that book. I am now reading Crescendo.

I love TKAM. Much better than the other crap I've had to read for school.
Just finished Agatha Christie's Cards on the Table. I wonder if Poirot's methods can be adapted for WTB.

I just finished Crescendo. It probably has one of the best cliffhanger endings I've read in a while. Anyhoo, I'll be starting a mange series next.
The Bible. Well, it is the only book I have tried to read for the past couple years... I guess time is tight.
