Anagrams

This is simple word game that can be played by yourself, or in a group of people. To begin, select a large word and write it down at the top of the page. Here are some long words that you can choose from:

• congratulations
• supplementation
• revolutionaries
• procrastination
• inconsequential
• experimentation
• entrepreneurial
• electromagnetic
• prestidigitator
• reconsideration
• interdependence
• instrumentation
• individualistic
• identifications
• extraordinarily
• confidentiality

Now, set a timer and using only the letters in your word, write down as many smaller words as you can that use those letters. You cannot use letters multiple times. If playing with multiple people, you should agree upon what makes a valid word. If you get challenged on a word, you will be required to prove that it's a word by looking it up in a dictionary.

If your words is CONGRATULATIONS, you may write down COLT, or LUNGS, or even TRANSACTION, but you could not legally write down TALL because it uses two Ls and there is only one available.

Scoring

If playing with other people, you may choose to ignore words that multiple people wrote down and only score points for unique words. You score points for each word, based on its length as follows:

• 3-4 letters: 1 point
• 5-6 letters: 2 points
• 7-8 letters: 5 points
• 9+ letters: 10 points
